Beyond the Fun: The Lifelong Benefits of Swimming Lessons for Children
Safety in the Water
Living in Singapore, we’re surrounded by beautiful beaches and pools. Whether it’s a weekend at the waterpark or a beach picnic, swimming is a part of our lives. And that’s why swimming lessons for children are not just fun; they’re a necessity for water safety.

Physical and Mental Wellness
Swimming is more than just splashing around. It’s a holistic exercise that promotes cardiovascular health, muscle strength, and mental tranquility. It’s an energetic outlet for kids and a calming retreat. Plus, it’s been proven to help with asthma relief and boosting self-esteem.

A Boost in Self-Esteem with Kids Swimming Lessons
Remember the last time your little one dozed off after a pool session? Swimming engages the full body, and every mastered stroke is a milestone. The journey from novice to confident swimmer instills a sense of achievement and pride.

Why Ace Dolphin Swim School Stands Out in the Sea of Choices
The Tatsuki Curriculum: A Fusion of Japanese Precision and Singaporean Context
Ever heard of the ‘Tatsuki curriculum’? It’s a systematic approach that ensures a smooth progression from basic water comfort exercises to advanced strokes. We’ve worked closely with the team in Japan to incorporate their methods into our swimming lessons.

Progressive and Structured Swimming Lessons: A Closer Look
At Ace Dolphin Swim School, we believe in a methodical and engaging approach to teaching swimming. Our progressive and structured swimming lessons are designed to cater to every child’s unique pace and ability, ensuring a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. Here’s how we do it:

Starting Every Lesson with a Warm-Up: Every swimming lesson begins with a warm-up, a crucial step that prepares the body and mind for the activity ahead. It’s not just about stretching muscles; it’s about setting the tone, focusing the mind, and building a connection between the student and the water. This ritual signifies the beginning of a joyful and productive learning experience, aligning the child’s energy and enthusiasm with the day’s lesson.

Bite-Sized Chunks of Curriculum: Learning to swim can be a complex process, but we’ve simplified it by breaking it down into manageable, bite-sized chunks. By dividing the curriculum into smaller milestones, we ensure that students are recognized and rewarded at each step. This approach keeps them engaged and maintains their passion for swimming. Every achievement, no matter how small, is celebrated, fostering a sense of accomplishment and motivating them to reach the next level. It’s like building a puzzle, piece by piece, until the beautiful picture of a confident swimmer emerges.

Clothes Swimming Lesson on Week 7: Safety is paramount in swimming, and we take it a step further by conducting a special clothes swimming lesson every seventh week. This unique lesson is designed to teach students what to do in the event of a water accident. By practicing swimming with clothes on, students become aware of the challenges and learn vital skills to handle unexpected situations. It’s a real-world application of their swimming skills, reinforcing the importance of safety and preparedness. This lesson is not just about swimming; it’s about life-saving skills and awareness.

Adaptation to Individual Needs: Our progressive approach means that we adapt to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Whether a child is taking their first dip or refining advanced techniques, our structured lessons provide the right balance of challenge and support. Our swimming coaches in Singapore are trained to identify and nurture the unique strengths and areas for growth in each child, providing personalized attention and guidance.

Integration with Swim Safer 2.0: While the essence of the Tatsuki curriculum is Japanese, we’ve given it a Singaporean touch by integrating it with Swim Safer 2.0. This ensures that the lessons resonate with our local culture and standards, making it relatable and effective for our little Singaporeans.

Continuous Assessment and Feedback: Our structured lessons include continuous assessment and feedback, allowing us to track progress and make necessary adjustments. Parents are kept informed and involved, creating a supportive partnership in the child’s swimming journey.

A Community of Support: Beyond the lessons, we foster a community of support among students, parents, and coaches. Regular events and activities create a sense of belonging and camaraderie, enhancing the overall learning experience.

Our progressive and structured swimming lessons are more than a series of lessons; they’re a comprehensive approach to swimming education. From the initial warm-up to the celebration of milestones, and the emphasis on safety through clothes swimming lessons, we’ve created an environment where learning to swim is a rewarding and enjoyable journey.

The Ace Dolphin Experience: More Than Just Lessons
We’re a thriving community, fostering camaraderie and team spirit through events, parent-child swim days, and competitions.
