Payment

All payment made is strictly non-refundable or transferable.

Payment must be made in full to ensure successful registration/ prior to the commencement of the first lesson for the new term.

Note: Ace Dolphin Swim School uses LessonPlan as its school management system, all payments are automated on LessonPlan.

Termination

Students are required to give 1 full month’s notice if he/she decides to withdraw from Ace Dolphin Swim School. If the month’s fees have already been collected, the last day will be the end of the following month.( For eg, Fees have been collected on May 1st. Notification of withdrawal is done on May 10th, the last day of lessons will be June end.)

Slot Guarantee

If a student is unable to attend lessons for the whole month, payment will still need to be made to reserve the slots.

Group Lesson

There will be strictly no refunds, compensation bad-weather, personal reasons (i.e. medical leave, vacations), late-coming or cancellation of any sorts. Lessons will continue as long as the pool remains open, even in bad weather.

No lessons will be conducted on public holidays (lessons are still chargeable) and on fifth week breaks of the month.

Kindly refer to the lesson schedule below as no reminders may be given.

Please notify the instructor if the student is not attending the lesson.

Make-Up Policy

Students are only allowed 1 make-up lesson every quarter for personal reasons. If you wish to request for extra make-up lessons due to illness, a valid Medical Certificate must be provided.

Adverse Weather and Safety Precautions

Land drills, exercise or water safety talk will be conducted in replacement of the usual practical lesson in the event of bad weather.

Swimming lessons will still be payable in the event of bad weather conditions. There will be no make-up lesson, refunds or compensation in the event of bad weather. (Applicable to group lessons)

Our Curriculum – The Acedolphin Method & Tatsuki Curriculum

Acedolphin Swim School adopts the Swimsafer program and Tatsuki swimming curriculum as its training program. This is a 12 week program for each level, all students will go through a grading test or swimsafer test on every week 12. This program is mandatory and test fees must be made should the student pass the test. More information about the curriculum can be found on The Acedolphin Method & Tatsuki Curriculum.

Private Lessons

Lost time due to late coming or non-availability of the swimming pool will not be compensated or made up for.  Students are required to inform the instructor 2 hours in advance if they wish to cancel the lesson, after which the make-up lesson must be arranged with the instructor, subject to the instructor’s availability. Last minute cancellations are not accepted. All make-up lessons will be arranged in favour of the instructor’s schedule.

Students are responsible to arrange their make-up lesson with the instructor if a lesson is cancelled.

No lessons will be conducted on Public Holidays. It is the student’s responsibility to be aware of these holidays:

  • ALL SINGAPORE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

  • NEW YEAR EVE

  • CHINESE NEW YEAR EVE & CHRISTMAS EVE

  • CHINESE NEW YEAR DAY 1 TO THE  DAY 5 OF THE LUNAR CALENDAR

Public swimming pools

All students are required to pay their own entrance fees to all public swimming pools.

Private/Condo/Club swimming pools

Students are required to pay for any deposit, entrance fee or parking fee for the instructor.

Students are required to register our instructors with their residence’s management if necessary.

Students are required to inform our instructors of any rules and regulations and operating hours of the swimming pool.

Relief of Swimming Instructors

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to send a relief swimming instructor should your instructor be unavailable.

Swimming Equipment

Students are required to wear Ace Dolphin’s swim cap at all times and use Ace Dolphin Swim Board during lesson time.

Responsibility

We will not be held responsible for any claims arising out of any injury, damage or loss of life while attending our swimming lesson, including all costs incurred as a result of such claims.

Coach Fabian is a dedicated swimming coach with over six years of experience working with children aged 4 to 12. A lifelong swimmer who began his journey at the age of 8, Fabian brings a deep understanding of the water and a strong foundation in all swimming strokes to his coaching.

His philosophy centers on developing efficient and correct stroke patterns through patient instruction and targeted drills, empowering young swimmers to reach their full potential. Passionate about nurturing young talent,

Coach Oni

Coach Oni

SENIOR COACH

Coach Oni is a dedicated and experienced swimming coach with a passion for making swimming fun and engaging for children. Since September 2018, she has been working as a freelance swimming teacher, where her key responsibilities include creating a fun learning environment, adapting to each student’s needs, and ensuring safety through vigilant supervision. Before that, from April 2016 to September 2018, Coach Oni taught at Little Swim School in Singapore, specializing as a Baby & Toddler Teacher. There, she guided parents, used songs to set a playful mood, and maintained a focus on fun, safety, and personalized instruction.

Coach Oni holds a Diploma in Sports Management from the Asia Pacific School of Business and Sports and has earned several certifications, including AustSwim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, AustSwim Teacher of Infant Preschool Aquatics, LifeSavings, and National Coaching Accreditation Programme (NCAP) Level 1. She also completed a Food & Beverage Management course at Raffles International Training Centre and has GCSE N Levels from Serangoon Gardens Secondary School.

Her leadership skills include people management, danger awareness, lesson planning, and creating report cards for students. Coach Oni is committed to explaining and demonstrating proper swimming techniques and postures, ensuring her students learn effectively and enjoy their time in the water.

Coach Ivan Holmberg

Ivan Holmberg

SENIOR COACH

Coach Ivan is a dedicated and passionate swim coach with 16 years of experience. Committed to teaching children the art and skills of swimming, he creates engaging and effective training programs tailored to each child’s abilities and goals.

Ivan fosters a positive and supportive environment, emphasizing confidence, safety, and proper technique while making swimming fun. As a Team Leader for MOE’s northern cluster CCA swimming program and a former coach of SAS’s competitive team, Fighting Fish, he has worked with swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Ivan understands the developmental stages of swimming and provides personalized guidance to help each child reach their full potential. Beyond coaching, he is deeply passionate about swimming, staying updated on training methods, and supporting his swimmers at competitions.

Ivan aims to teach swimming and instill life skills such as perseverance, discipline, and teamwork, empowering the next generation of confident and capable swimmers. With his guidance, children become proficient swimmers and develop a lifelong appreciation for the water.

Aw Wei Jie

LEAD COACH

Coach Wei jie was the Swim Team Captain for Nanyang Poly swim team in 2007 and an Ex-National Lifesaving member. He is currently serving as the Sport Lifesaver at SSTA club and is and an avid diver. Wei Jie is also a certified Diving instructor.

Wei Jie’s kind and passionate personality has won much respect amongst coaches and students alike.

He is certified under NROC, Swim Safer 2.0 and SSPA and has been coaching for more than 13 years.

Huang Han Rong

SENIOR TRAINER

Being the Swim Team Captain of Nanyang Polytechnic for 3 years (2005 – 2007), Hanrong received the prestigious NYAA (National Youth Achievement Award) from then Singapore President SR Nathan in 2007.

He was also a member of SSA (Singapore Swimming Association) as a competitive swimming representative and has won numerous swimming competitions.

As his Swimming career progressed, he have been a swimming coach for 17 years, conducting courses for both beginners and competitive swimmers. More than 2000 students have since graduated under his guidance.

He is an NROC, NCAP, SSPA, Swim Safer accredited coach.
