SwimSafer 2.0

The SwimSafer 2.0 programme consists of six progressive stages. Survival and activity skills are taught in each stage of the programme, working progressively toward the next stage.

Upon successful completion of each stage, participants are able to obtain their e-certificate from Ace Dolphin Swim School or through their ActiveSG account.

The programme aims to teach swimming proficiency and water survival skills in a fun manner. These skills are necessary to help reduce the number of drowning incidents in Singapore.

The programme was reviewed in 2016-2017 and refreshed version of SwimSafer was developed. SwimSafer 2.0 teachers people of all ages and varying abilities to swim and be safe in, or and around water. This programme emphasises skill development in conjunction with water safety and personal water survival education.

The SwimSafer programme 6 Stages.

The objective is for your child to gain confidence and develop independence in the water, as well as learn general and deep-end water safety. Techniques taught include forward and backward movement, safe entry and exit, and introduction to personal water survival skills.
