We had our first trial lesson with Coach Eric, and we were genuinely impressed. From the moment the session began, He made our child feel comfortable and excited to be in the water. His friendly demeanor, clear instructions, and encouraging attitude created such a positive learning environment.

Today was my child's first swimming lesson. Coach Eric was very patient and helped her relax. She immediately fell in love with swimming! Coach Eric’s detailed explanations and relaxed atmosphere helped her quickly get used to the water. It was a very satisfying experience!
Coach Sunny was very patient with my young boy (he’s just turned 3 last month) who had gone for the trial to see if he would be able to join the class. Though his peers were all older and more experienced than him, coach Sunny had still given attention to my son and ensured that learning still took place for him. My kid has been with the school for 7 months now and I am seeing my kid growing more confident in water. My kid has little exposure to water play/pool prior to joining Ace Dolphin. Lesson progress seems slow at the beginning but I guess it may be intentionally structured that way for children to have sufficient time to build confident and familiar to be in water. Thank you to Coach Sunny for the patient, encouragement, and being strict to the kids when needed. I look forward seeing my kid to be able to swim without board and not forgotten to be ready for SwimSafer Lvl 1 certification.

Coach Gary is patient, soft-spoken and kind. The small group sizes make the classes conducive for learning, and each child receives adequate attention and guidance. He encourages progress at a comfortable pace for every child, without being harsh or strict. We also appreciate that he is flexible and understanding when make-up lessons are needed, for instance if the kids are suddenly unwell. A very nice and reliable coach whom we would recommend.
2024: My 7 year old daughter joined Ace Dolphin early 2024 after being with Happy Fish for 4 years. Within the same year, Coach Gary recommended her to go for swimming test Bronze level, something we waited very long for previously. My daughter can be reserved and quiet but Coach Gary managed to make her feel safe with his kind personality and calm demeanour. He is good with children and caring towards them. This shows when he teaches them. My daughter enjoys going to swimming class. Thank you Coach Gary!

Coach Gary does an excellent job in teaching the kids. I can see progress in my son's swimming skill, even though we have missed quite a few lessons. There is also no more water anxiety but more confidence. Thanks a lot Coach Gary!
My boy has been with Ace Dolphin for about 3 years now, progressing with Coach Zul, Gary and now Hanrong. He enjoys his lessons with all of them and looks forward to his classes each week. The coaches are great in making the class fun and enjoyable for the kids. And the kids feel achieved with the colour bands they received as they progress in their skills! Kudos to Ace Dolphin!
Coach Han Rong has fun way of teaching swimming. He can be serious and yet entertaining simultaneously. What I really like about Coach Han Rong is his flexibility in teaching – he would always cater to each individual’s needs and observe each student’s swimming movements, and then tackle the problem at hand. It is a very efficient way of teaching!

Coach Hanrong has been teaching my kids for almost 5 years. My boys both started out afraid of entering the water (then aged 5 and 6), but he was very patient and friendly with them and slowly helped them gain water confidence. After almost 5 years with Ace Dolphin (off and on due to Covid-related restrictions/fasting month/exams, and alternating at times between private and group classes based on our schedule for the time being), am happy to say that my boys have now achieved their Silver Swimsafer certification! Thank you Coach Hanrong and team for the wonderful support in their swimming journey and imparting in them an invaluable lifeskill that they will no doubt benefit from for years to come! 🙂

Today was the first trial lesson my two kids(5 and 7) had with ACE Dolphin Swim School with coach Alvin. I went in with a bit of hesitance as my last experience with another more expensive swimming class left a bit of a sour taste to my older kid and it was the first time I am sending his younger sibling with him.
Here are my observation
1) the teacher to class ratio is good. It was not too big a class and everyone got equal attention from the coach. There
2) coach Alvin is natural with kids. Can see he can build the rapport with the kids very quickly and can see the kids trust him enough to follow his instructions closely. Even with a child with a fear of water, he was able to earn the trust for the child to enter the water. It was not a one way interaction which I find it interesting and good as the kids of today is really different. His professionalism can be seen through the way he convey important lessons effectively for even younger kid. My kids told me they are excited for the next lesson.
3) the class started punctually and there was no time wasted
4) venue is awesome as it is a sheltered pool so no worries for wet weather.

We recently had a lesson with Coach Alvin at Ace Dolphin Swim School | Sengkang, and it was excellent! His class is incredibly engaging, and both my kids were immediately hooked—they were definitely not bored! Coach Alvin clearly knows how to connect with children and make the learning process effective and fun. We were so impressed with the quality of instruction that we signed up for the full classes right after. We're looking forward to seeing our kids progress here!

Coach Alvin at Sengkang does a wonderful job for my boys in teaching them the necessary techniques to swim to ensure water safety and survival. He is encouraging and nurturing but also, vigilant on safety and firm when he needs to be, which is perfect for my boys. Thank you, Coach Alvin!
My 2 boys aged 5 & 6 have been taking lessons at Happy Fish since they were toddler. This year we decided to enrol both of them with Ace Dolphin at sengkang swimming complex as we felt it is time for them to progress to a more open environment that is not as protected as Happy Fish.
Gladly to say 6 months down the road, they have gotten more independent and confident in water and are able to swim.

We are so grateful to have Coach Ivan as a swimming coach. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and motivating. I am very thankful to be able to secure classes with Coach Ivan. My kids went for his lesson during one of their replacement class and almost immediately requested me to switch over to his classes. My eldest son started swimming with ACEDOLPHIN when he was just 6 years old under Coach Albert, and over the years, my other three children also joined, training under Coach Raymond and Coach Alvin, and of course, the longest-serving Coach Hanrong.

This swim school is highly recommended! Both my sons achieved Swim Safer Gold awards, with my younger son persevering for 7 years. I have enrolled my kid 6 year old and the coach is Wei Jie at Yiu Chu Kang Swimming pool. The coach is very patience and at the beginning my kid she doesn’t know how to swim at all. After 8 lessons now she can swim very well without floaties and now she knows freestyle and breaststroke … it’s amazing to see her improved so much !

My son Gabriel has been with Ace Dolphin since he was 5 years old, and it has been 2 wonderful years of learning and growing in confidence. Along the way there were some changes in coaches, but we were very blessed to have Coach Ivan. He is truly exceptional! He is firm, focused and no-nonsense when it comes to discipline, yet at the same time patient, caring and encouraging with the kids. I really appreciate how he understands children so well, guiding them with both structure and kindness. He also motivates them with little rewards for good behavior. Coach Ivan is a real gem, and both students and parents are lucky to have him!
Changed three coaches in a span of 9 months. Every time the coach changes, they need to reassess the kids again. Every coach has their own definition of swimming strokes. I see my girl going from training pool to competitive pool from one coach to going back to training pool when the coach changes. Not recommended.
My son has been under Coach WeiJie for the past 1 year and he is very confident in water now as compared to when he first started. Coach WeiJie is very patient and find ways to make it fun for kids. Highly recommended!

I would like to commend Coach Ivan for his patience and passion in coaching my younger girl; Charlene Chaw thus far. She is one that requires a lot of encouragement to overcome her fear in swimming. Prior to Coach Ivan, Charlene wasn't making good progress. She took almost one year to pass her recently concluded Stage 1 Test at YCK swimming complex in Nov 24. This was made possible because of Coach Ivan. He knew that Charlene required a lot of encouragement and lot more time compared to the rest in overcoming her fear in swimming. But Charlene did it and passed her Stage 1! Thank you Coach Ivan!

Coach Gary is a great coach with an endearing personable style. My son enjoys learning from him and we can see him improving with every class. We are glad that he is our son’s coach!
Before coming to Ace Dolphine, my 6 year old boy was still afraid of water and when he went to the waterpark he always stayed in the baby's pool only. I sent him to try it out first. Coach Gary is friendly and easygoing with the children, yet I saw him persistently encouraging the children with patience who needed more push. After 6 months, my boy can swim on his own with no fear and now he is looking forward to passing Swimsafer Stage 1.

Coach Weijie has been coaching my children swimming, and he is very patient in teaching them the correct techniques to swim. He injects fun to the class and helps his students gain water confidence. He is very patient and encouraging when coaching my son for stage 5 silver and my daughter for stage 1. My kids enjoy going for swimming lessons under an awesome coach!

Worked with Coach Ivan at Ace Dolphin swim school. He is an experienced coach who is passionate about coaching and development. He is patient and is able to encourage his students to love swimming and focus on the strokes, correct techniques and also for real life survival and being able to swim effectively. I have seen so much progress in a year of having Coach Ivan.

We recently enrolled our child in a program led by Coach Gary at Bishan Swimming Complex. Coach Gary is incredibly patient and kind, making them perfect for beginners. Coach Alvin was very patient with my toddler. My child listened to him easily and felt comfortable in the water. Within just a minute, my toddler was able to blow bubbles and even try some backstroke with confidence. Coach Alvoi’s calm and encouraging approach really helped build trust and made the lesson fun and effective. Highly recommended!
Alvin has been teaching my son Iman for 2 years now, and the progress has been remarkable. What we appreciate most is his positive reinforcement to keep the kids engaged, and he is always very clear about what skills they are working on. Alvin was able quickly spot the specific mistakes of my son was making with his technique. Instead of just telling him what was wrong, he patiently explained why it was a problem. My son's strokes are now much more efficient, and he's swimming with a lot more confidence. I am so grateful for Coach Alvin 's expertise and dedication. Highly recommend!

We just joined AceDolphin and it’s truly one of the best decisions we’ve made. Coach Hanrong and Coach Alvin are extremely patient and supportive. My girl absolutely loves going to Coach Wei Jie’s class. The lessons are well-organized, and most importantly, I feel confident and safe letting my child learn from the coach. Weijie and Hueymin are very patience and kind towards teaching and guiding my elder child. Seeing the progress of my elder one, certainly makes me feel proud especially at a mere age of 5, my child has the courage to swim in an adult pool with freestyle (which is one that I have not learnt it myself) without a float.
