I signed my child up for a trial class with Coach Gary, and it was a wonderful experience. He was friendly, patient, and very understanding, especially since my child was initially apprehensive about attending the swim class. Coach Gary quickly managed to engage him and build his confidence within the short 45-minute session. By the end of the trial, I was genuinely impressed to see my son jump into the pool, submerge his head underwater, and hold his breath before resurfacing (with assistance, of course). It was a big leap in confidence and ability in such a short amount of time.

We had our first trial lesson with Coach Eric, and we were genuinely impressed. From the moment the session began, He made our child feel comfortable and excited to be in the water. His friendly demeanor, clear instructions, and encouraging attitude created such a positive learning environment.
Even in just one session, we noticed how attentively Coach Eric observed and adapted to our child’s comfort level and skill. It was wonderful to see our little ones smiling, engaged, and already picking up new techniques. The coach struck a great balance between fun and focus, which made the experience both enjoyable and productive.

Coach Sunny was very patient with my young boy (he’s just turned 3 last month) who had gone for the trial to see if he would be able to join the class. Though his peers were all older and more experienced than him, coach Sunny had still given attention to my son and ensured that learning still took place for him. My son was initially fearful but grew more confident and stopped crying after a few mins thanks to Coach Sunny’s efforts in trying to build rapport with him.Will be signing up for the full class now (:

My kid has been with the school for 7 months now and I am seeing my kid growing more confident in water. My kid has little exposure to water play/pool prior to joining Ace Dolphin. Lesson progress seems slow at the beginning but I guess it may be intentionally structured that way for children to have sufficient time to build confident and familiar to be in water. Thank you to Coach Sunny for the patient, encouragement, and being strict to the kids when needed. I look forward seeing my kid to be able to swim without board and not forgotten to be ready for SwimSafer Lvl 1 certification.

Coach Alvin and Coach Han Rong are patient, supportive, and skilled swimming instructors. My daughter was initially very afraid of the water, but with Coach Alvin’s guidance, she now swims confidently.

Coach Gary is patient, soft-spoken and kind. The small group sizes make the classes conducive for learning, and each child receives adequate attention and guidance. He encourages progress at a comfortable pace for every child, without being harsh or strict. We also appreciate that he is flexible and understanding when make-up lessons are needed, for instance if the kids are suddenly unwell. A very nice and reliable coach whom we would recommend.

2024: My 7 year old daughter joined Ace Dolphin early 2024 after being with Happy Fish for 4 years. Within the same year, Coach Gary recommended her to go for swimming test Bronze level, something we waited very long for previously. My daughter can be reserved and quiet but Coach Gary managed to make her feel safe with his kind personality and calm demeanour. He is good with children and caring towards them. This shows when he teaches them. My daughter enjoys going to swimming class. Thank you Coach Gary!

My boy has been with Ace Dolphin for about 3 years now, progressing with Coach Zul, Gary and now Hanrong. He enjoys his lessons with all of them and looks forward to his classes each week. The coaches are great in making the class fun and enjoyable for the kids. And the kids feel achieved with the colour bands they received as they progress in their skills! Kudos to Ace Dolphin!

Coach Han Rong has fun way of teaching swimming. He can be serious and yet entertaining simultaneously. What I really like about Coach Han Rong is his flexibility in teaching – he would always cater to each individual’s needs and observe each student’s swimming movements, and then tackle the problem at hand. It is a very efficient way of teaching!

Coach Hanrong has been teaching my kids for almost 5 years. My boys both started out afraid of entering the water (then aged 5 and 6), but he was very patient and friendly with them and slowly helped them gain water confidence. After almost 5 years with Ace Dolphin (off and on due to Covid-related restrictions/fasting month/exams, and alternating at times between private and group classes based on our schedule for the time being), am happy to say that my boys have now achieved their Silver Swimsafer certification! Thank you Coach Hanrong and team for the wonderful support in their swimming journey and imparting in them an invaluable lifeskill that they will no doubt benefit from for years to come! 🙂

Gary has been a great coach who is patient and kind towards the kiddos... I have seen kids with little confidence in swimming to being able to swimming comfortably themselves in a short span of period. Highly recommend for beginner swimmers.

Coach Alvin is very patient and professional when training my son and other students. He makes sure that every student will feel that swimming is a fun sport to learn and shouldn't treat it as scary or something to be nervous about.
